Develop your students' digital citizenship competences with the DIGITOO Toolkit!


The “DIGITOO – School Toolkit on Digital Citizenship, Digital Footprint and Digital Ecology”, is a KA2 Strategic Partnership co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the EU. The technological transformation that is currently taking place in society is leading to major changes in the behaviors of youngsters. Strategies to support schools in coping with the barriers and pitfalls of the digital world are needed.

The main aim of DIGITOO project is to support the development of digital citizenship competences in secondary school students through the definition and piloting of a toolkit for teachers on digital citizenship, digital footprint and digital ecology.

The partnership is formed by 8 partners from a wide geographical area comprising 6 countries of the following regions: Mediterranean (Spain, Italy), Central Europe (Slovenia, Germany), Eastern Europe (Romania) and South-East Europe/Asia (Turkey). The partnership counts a non-profit organization, an SME and 6 secondary general education schools with students aged 14-19.

Thanks to the DIGITOO Toolkit, secondary school teachers will increase the media and digital literacy of their students, enabling them to make a more sustainable, conscious and responsible use of digital apps and social platforms. The Toolkit will be available in 7 languages and can be adapted to different educational contexts.
