The DIGITOO partners are currently working on the definition of digital citizenship competences to be developed by high school students through the use of the project’s toolkit for teachers. The competences refer to two main blocks of topics:
- Information and media literacy
- Digital literacy
The partners Associazione Stampa Romana and One-Off Tech have developed so far 11 competences that have been presented to all the schools participating in the project. The schools are currently organizing local focus groups aimed at sharing the competences with their teaching staff and selecting only the most appropriate competences to be tackled by the DIGITOO Toolkit.
Based on the results of these focus groups, the DIGITOO Toolkit will be developed including tools, step-by-step methodologies, teaching OERs, connected to the development of the selected digital citizenship skills.
The Final version of the Set of Competences and of the DIGITOO Toolkit will be freely downloadable on the website of the project.
